FAQ
Q. Can I join Blight's Ending?
A. If you are 18 years or older, have a Discord account, and enjoy roleplaying, you are eligible to join Blight's Ending! As we are a group that operates on applications, you may have to wait until an "opening" is available. This simply means that our group is open and looking for new members.Q. I'm under 18. Why can't I join?
A. We understand that there are plenty of minors in the Warrior Cats role-playing community, and we completely understand wanting to join! However, Blight's Ending is staying strictly 18+ in order to protect minors from potential harm. While our role-play will not contain extremely mature themes, we want to ensure minors in the community are staying safe, and making sure our role-play is adults only helps us function easier. If you are turning 18 within the month when you are applying, we may consider allowing you to join as long as you let us know. Anyone exposed as having lied about their age to enter Blight's Ending will be removed.Q. How do I join Blight's Ending?

OOC RULES
1. Be respectful toward your fellow roleplayers. If someone expresses discomfort, asks you to stop doing something, or otherwise calls your behavior into question, please handle yourself accordingly.2. Absolutely no forms of bigotry, such as racism, sexism, homophobia, or transphobia, are tolerable in Blight's Ending. Any members found to display these sorts of hateful attitudes will be subject to removal from the group.3. Blight's Ending is a 18+ group, meaning that only those who are 18 years of age or older may apply. Anyone younger than this will not fit in well with the environment and plotlines we have cultivated. Please be honest about your age when applying, as you will be removed should a mod discover you are under our age limit.4. We do not allow any NSFW content to be sent in chats, OOC or otherwise.5. Our blacklist outlines topics that should either be avoided, properly spoiler tagged, or not discussed at all depending on the severity of the warning applied to each topic. Do your best to remember and respect any blacklisted topics. Mistakes happen, but multiple slip ups will call you into question.6. Do not spam OOC chats, especially when roleplays are occurring. You are free to talk openly in these channels, but be sure to use them appropriately, and do not send excessive or random messages.7. If you are experiencing conflict with another member or take issue with something in the group, please DM a mod to discuss things further. We will do our best to ensure that everyone feels comfortable within our server!8. If a member shows repeated disrespect for our rules, they may be considered for suspension, removal, or other moderator implemented consequences depending on the severity or the frequency of the offense(s).9. Secrets allow for a more exciting roleplay experience! For example, if you are in GladeClan and have been made aware of a top secret plot point, please be careful to not share this information with any members of BarrenClan or CopseClan. This allows for a sense of mystery and intrigue to be kept up between the two clans, and for secrets to be learned organically via roleplaying.10. If a member elects to leave Blight's Ending without notifying a moderator of any "final wishes" regarding the characters they leave behind, the fates of remaining characters will be subject to moderator discretion. Some of these results include making a character an adoptable and rehoming them, killing them, or turning them into an NPC.
ROLEPLAY RULES
1. Blight’s Ending currently allows members to be in one of three available clans. Pick your clan wisely!2. Blight’s Ending runs on a real life time system. That means that every real life day is equivalent to one roleplay day. Sometimes, liquid time may be utilized to finish events that require heavy involvement. Our roleplay operates in the PST time zone.3. Blight’s Ending is a literate roleplay group, meaning that we employ the use of paragraph style roleplaying. Posts may range from one paragraph to many, many more.4. Blight’s Ending currently has a character limit of four characters per each member. Every member is permitted to have at least two characters regardless of any conditions. Third and fourth character slots are thus “unlockable." New character opportunities are available to members who show themselves to be active, engaged, and available for discussion with the mods! Our character limit is subject to change as the group grows.5. Blight's Ending is a group with realistic to semi-realistic standards for our characters. Designs must be based on genetically accurate cat coats and colors, though stylization is allowed when drawing your character. Any breed standards must also be adhered to.Rare coat colors and breeds will be extremely uncommon due to the clans having very little contact with housecats who would pertain the necessary genetics. Please keep this in mind when choosing a design for your character. If you have any questions regarding breeds or coat colors, feel free to reach out to the Mods - we'd be happy to help or to provide alternatives! In addition, your character should not have any "accessories" such as collars, bandanas, or other twoleg given adornments unless they are a character from outside of the clans. Cats are expected to retire to the elder's den by 165 moons of age, and the average expected age of death would be up to 180 moons.6. Mod approval is required for large arc or plot altering decisions such as character deaths, altercations and fights, and breaking the warrior code. Please PM a mod if you have an idea to pitch that involves your character or others participating in such things. Also, expect any massive or intense actions to have equal consequences. Your character may face punishment, ridicule, or more if they wrap themselves up in trouble!7. Mod approval is required for characters looking to switch clans. Keep in mind that a request may be denied or “shelved” for a later opportunity in the roleplay depending on mod discussion.8. Mod approval is required for characters looking to take a mate from a clan that is not their own. Crushes may exist freely, but the label of “mates” must get approval. Keep in mind that cross-clan relationships may have consequences for the characters involved.9. Mod approval and involvement is required for characters looking to have kittens. Mods will help roleplayers set up a due date, will choose roleplayers for the litter, will roll for a randomized number of kits per litter, and will oversee a “kit chat” that will allow for the creation of the litter itself.10. Do not make your character suicidal or have them engage in self harm. These topics are severely triggering and will not be permitted in Blight’s Ending. If you believe a post of yours may toe the line with regards to these topics, please DM a mod for discussion before posting it.11. Do not excessively describe gore. Although Warrior Cats as a series often contains graphic scenes, we ask that our members take care in spoilering any intensely graphic gory scenes using Discord’s spoiler text system.12. "God-modding" or taking control of characters who do not belong to you is not permitted in Blight's Ending. You may only roleplay as and control your own characters.13. If you wish to make any drastic changes or additions to your character's bio, history, design, or other important information, you must first get moderator approval. If we discover any changes have been made without approval, we may ask you to remove or alter them.14. In Blight's Ending, activity is important. We have quarters, which are three months each. During each quarter, members will have a certain amount of threads they must complete to pass the activity checks. If you have one character you must complete three roleplays. If you have two characters you must complete four roleplays. If you have three characters you must complete five roleplays. If you have four characters you must complete six roleplays. Each character must have one complete roleplay, and charactets of high rank must have two complete roleplays, but the rest may be divided among their characters however the player pleases.Threads must have three posts to be considered a completed RP. If you are ever unable to complete your threads for the quarter, please DM a mod to be considered on 'hiatus'! Communication is key, and we want to help you in any way we can to help you finish your activity checks, or at least understand you won't be available.
If you have any questions about the rules, feel free to send us an ask .
OVERVIEW
Blight's Ending is home to a trio of clans, each with their own unique customs, ranks, and traditions.CopseClan, GladeClan, and BarrenClan live among the forests, the meadows, and the pine barrens in relative peace, having grown from a past that haunts all of them. Though no living cat remains that is able to directly recount history, the clans still tell tales of when they were plagued by a violent rogue group known as The Glaring. Long since disbanded, The Glaring were toppled by one of their own, a rogue named Kestrel, eventually turned Kestrelstar. BarrenClan emerged from the ashes, joining CopseClan and GladeClan to occupy the forests of Oregon.
THE CLANS
CopseClan, spiritual and fair, is led currently by Ratstar. Guided by their faith and the input of their collective trusted Council, CopseClan is traditional and welcoming, always ready to introduce new faces to their culture.GladeClan, matriarchal and vigilant, is led currently by Hollystar. Characterized by the manner in which they occupy multiple widespread camps, GladeClan is proud of what they have built and wary of letting anyone disturb it.BarrenClan, rugged and steadfast, is led currently by Shatterstar. Combatting a history that may paint them as brutes, BarrenClan works to make sense of their origins, pulling the best qualities from the rubble that was left behind.
